Whilst we cannot take the credit for the race results of our breeding stock, it cannot be ignored. The future potential from these closely bred Joel Verschoot Originals and our UK racing Champions will only strengthen Fanciers competent enough to continue the legacy of these elite specimens;

Following one of the original purchase of Cees back in April 2019, we were saddened to learn that Cees was in fact infertile. Initially we hoped, like others have found with these loyal homing pigeons, that the Joel Verschoot Original Line do not take change well as they are used to a certain pattern for pairing. The plan was set back somewhat as Formula 1 were due to cross his excellent pedigree in both racing and breeding for the UK. Eventually in early 2020 it lead to the the exchange of a direct daughter of Armando and a direct son of Contador however, our plan to have direct children from Cees competing this season obvioudly missed its target.

In addition to the exchange direct with Joel Verschoots Loft, we kept the finely bred Son of Cees. He comes from great stock; father Cees and mother Zoeyeke (full sister of Armando).

Formula 1 have homed and bred some stock ready for the 2020 season in racing kit form but due to Covid 19 they never actually were released to the UK. They will be available for next season by pre order. We do have some stock available with Formula 1 if you want to get ahead of the game for next year. Enquiries to sales@peplofts.com
